RefWizard (SciVerse App – CodeForScience Turkey Winner)

  • RefWizard, developed for CodeForScience Turkey, is a visual reference explorer tool. It presents the references of a selected article on an interactive, dynamic graph. In this graph, each reference is represented by a node. Users can interact with RefWizard in several ways. First, they can move the mouse over a node to quickly glean useful information about that article. If desired, users can directly open the full-text article from our application. Secondly, and more importantly, RefWizard can be used to discover relationships between articles. By double-clicking on a node, users can expand the references of that article. Thus, it is possible to observe multiple levels of references starting from a root article. This allows tracing back the references of an article to quickly find the most influential and pioneering works in a given field. Furthermore, it allows discovering important relationships between articles such as whether they have common ancestors, or they are influenced by different works. RefWizard works in ScienceDirect full-text article page and it is targeted for researchers from all areas of science, who need to explore references of articles in a visual and efficient way.

  1. naturally like your website but you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very troublesome to tell the truth nevertheless I will certainly come back again.
