Ireland has announced a National Open Access Policy

  • Ireland’s national Open Access policy has been announced (23 October 2012). The policy consists of a ‘Green’ mandate and encouragement to publish in ’Gold’ OA journals. It aligns with the European policy for Horizon 2020 and can be used as a model for other national policies in development.
