National Library of France (BnF) Launches iPad App, More Than 2 Million Digitized Items Available

  • If you read French or know someone who does here’s a new iPad (free) from the National Library of France (Bibliothèque nationale de France) that might be of interest. The app provides access to more than 2 million digitized items (240,000 books, 880,000 pamphlets and news magazines, 470,000 images, and more) from the library’s collection Gallica database. New items will be added weekly. An Android app will be released early next year.
