• Genome Compiler is built on the idea that biology is information technology. Just like another information technology – computers, genetic engineers also need tools to design, debug and compile their code: A genome compiler. We were Inspired by the breakthrough research done by the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI), with their achievement of synthesizing a whole bacterial genome and booting it up and a vision of making biological design easier and open to people outside the research labs.
