Illustrations for the Spanish edition of The Communist Manifesto by Madrid-based artist Fernando Vicente

  1. Nice. Very cool and provocative images. I especially liked the half of the world going on the juicer. It’s interesting that these would go along with a Spanish version of the manifesto, as Spain was caught up in the swell of Franco’s Fascism after the civil war. Images like these bring out the different currents that wear tearing at the country at the time.
