- Innovating e-Learning 2012: Shaping the future is the seventh in the popular series of JISC e-Learning Programme online conferences brings together delegates from further and higher education to explore and develop the use of technology to enhance learning and teaching. The title of the 2012 conference, ‘Shaping the future’, reflects the changing educational environment and addresses the challenges that institutions and practitioners are facing. The pre-conference activity week, starting on 13 November provides a platform for JISC-funded projects, delegates and agencies to run their own short presentations and showcase events. The main conference starts on 19 November and includes keynote addresses by Dr Sue Black, James Clay and Ian Gilbert. All the sessions in the main conference are live – these are also recorded for delegates who cannot attend at the time. Sessions are also supported by cross-cutting asynchronous discussion forums open to all delegates. The conference is supported by the JISC Regional Support Centres and JISC Netskills who are providing the conference platform.
