Surveillance and the Internet of Things

  • The Internet has turned into a massive surveillance tool. We’re constantly monitored on the Internet by hundreds of companies — both familiar and unfamiliar. Everything we do there is recorded, collected, and collated — sometimes by corporations wanting to sell us stuff and sometimes by governments wanting to keep an eye on us.


  1. Yes I fully agree with you on this one. I’m Canadian, and the first thing I found out about 3 months ago, is that they’ll (The Government) be watching Facebook…

    There ought to be a law! LOL! There is, but it’s going the wrong way… I remember when The Internet was full of learning and was a comfortable place to be. Now it’s all sell, sell, sell, viruses, Hackers and Malware :O(
