Plagiarism Games (Gamification)

Here are two examples of games used for teaching about plagiarism. Although these are not technically examples of ‘gamification’ they are examples of  game based learning which can be a component of a gamification strategy.

  1. Goblin Threat from Lycoming College – Save the academic integrity of the college by defeating the plagiarism goblins who have invaded campus: http://www.lycoming.edu/library/instruction/tutorials/plagiarismGame.aspx
  2. Match Game and Choose Wisely Game from Northern Illinois University – Beat the timer by answering plagiarism questions correctly: http://www.niu.edu/ai/students/section05/games/index.htm
