Eye-opening insights into global #medical cultures (#infographic) by #GapMedics



Despite the rapid advances in medical technology, there is still a huge disparity between the ways in which different cultures deal with healthcare. There are a variety of factors which dictate this including population density, access to funding and the level of training available to healthcare professionals.

Drawing from a variety of respected medical reporting sources including the World Health Organisation and The Lancet we have been able to ascertain the pros and cons of different countries’ approaches while also discovering some intriguing facts along the way.

By looking at the number of doctors and beds per patient (amongst other variables), we’re able to get an idea of the standard of care you can expect to receive. This graphic presents key medical statistics from across the globe to determine which healthcare systems are world leaders.
