Last week Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality announced its open data platform, data.ibb.gov.tr. It was a very exciting announcement for data lovers, in Turkey. For me, It is a great opportunity to practice with geospatial data and KeplerGL. I know that with KeplerGL, I can make fascinating data visualization. I decided to use API which provides instant bus locations. If I store them for 24 hours, I can easily animate the data with KeplerGL. But in the beginning, we should prepare the data in GEOJSON format with Python.
