Impacts of Women in the Academy: Confronting #GenderEquality, #Diversity, and #Leadership

Women within the academy (i.e. professors, researchers, and academicians) continue to face issues such as program cuts, lack of professional development and leadership opportunities, the pay gap, and reduced funding for research within the humanities, which includes valuable resources on gender and diversity. These ongoing issues are only becoming more exacerbated during the current environment.

Understanding the importance of continuing conversations around these topics, IGI Global hosted a webinar, in coordination with Laurentian University and York University (recently named one of the top universities for tackling gender equality), Canada, featuring the editors and contributing authors of the IGI Global title, Critical Reflections and Politics on Advancing Women in the Academy.
