Some of the exciting new additions to the Work Plan for next year are:
- Organize regular webinars for COAR members discuss issues of interest (I will be in touch in early January for your suggestions)
- With OpenAIRE and other European partners and members, develop and implement a strategy for modernizing the European repository network
- Develop and launch a comprehensive directory of open access repositories
- Undertake a landscape scan on the state of repositories
- Develop recommendations to improve machine access to repository resources
- Raise the profile of initiatives that have adopted the “publish, review, curate” model
- Relocate the COAR legal seat to the Netherlands as a Dutch Stichting
